This morning we had our 20 week ultrasound for Baby Arnold #2 and...
It's another BOY! : )
The doctor said that everything looks perfect. The baby is healthy and the due date is on target. There's only one alarming thing: this baby is bigger than Isaac. He's measuring in the 90th percentile. The doctor didn't expect that to cause any concern. He'll just be a big healthy baby.
With the addition of my sister, Sara's, baby in late July (also a boy: Baby Drew) and ours, we've evened out the score on my side of the family: 3 girls, 3 boys. Isaac will no longer be outnumbered.
Now, the pressure is on Bryan. He claims that since I selected Isaac's name, he gets to pick this one. We still loved the girl's name that we had agreed on during our first pregnancy, but it's back to the drawing board... The name will remain a secret, though, as it did for Isaac. And, as indecisive as we are, that's a good thing. : )
Oh, one more detail: the Cesarean Section is scheduled for September 29th. It's a Monday. Mark your calendars!

He's a boy! Play ball! (or go fishing). But the real question is .... is he another SPIDERMAN? We can't wait to meet him. And we can't wait to see what a good big brother Isey will be.

Congrats! Cool! Good news! Yippie! Thank Heaven for little boys! I really loved having two boys first. I can tell ya for sure too.........Boys are easier and less costly to raise. I am so happy for you, Bryan, and Isaac. I am excited and anxious to meet the new little guy. Just think, he'll have a brother that's close and his new little boy cousin will be very close. I am sure he will be beautiful just like the rest of his family. I pray he is healthy and it is as easy as possible for you. If ya ever need a last minute baby sitter for either or both of your sons, you can call us. We have lots of experience with boys.
Hugs......

I knew it was a boy! John C said you needed a girl because you're so girly, but you need a boy because you're so girly, and you'll have all those handsome men to love you so much! We are so happy for all of you, and know he'll be a great little boy, just like Isaac! Now the game is on...3 girls, 3 boys. Congratulations to all ....parents, grandparents, and aunts and uncles. What wonderful news. XXOO sandy and john
