I feel like I'm in a fog. I'm a little Louco (Portuguese for crazy). Here's why:

1. I'm running on three hours of sleep.

My bedtime: 12:30 AM. I awoke at 3:30 AM with Isaac. Coughing. Non. Stop. Robitussin helps slightly. 5 AM we move to the recliner. Isaac falls asleep, I doze in and out with daylight dancing across my eyelids.

2. I made four trips back and forth to Isaac's day care yesterday. (That's approximately 40 miles before noon.)

Trip 1: take Isaac to school.
Trip 2: take forgotten coat hood to school.
Trip 3: deliver forgotten Easter napkins to school for easter party.
Trip 4: pick up Isaac.
The kicker: neither hood nor napkins made it to his classroom. (I stop by Isaac's school this morning - his hood and napkins were delivered to the wrong Isaac.)

3. My pharmacy and my doc aren't communicating. They're confusing me with another patient, Karen Arnold. Weird.

4. I'm hard of hearing.

Two colleagues have pointed out to me this past week that that they've said, "hi," and I've ignored them. I assured each that it was inadvertent.

To be quite honest, I feel that you should say, "hi," when you first see someone, but why the random, "hi," 3, 4, or 5 more times throughout the day, in the hall, etc.? I mean I'm friendly, but that seems excessive... especially at a small business.

5. I haven't been able to knit all week. (I KNOW!)

Don't get me wrong, I'm not down and out. My week is not a loss but I feel like I've lost it. : )
