And some are Yellow...

Yesterday, since the Betts were in town and the Rams were playing the Chiefs, we all gathered at my parents' house to bbq and hang out. This translates into chaos, followed by chowing down, followed by more chaos, and finally, post-meal fun hang out time.

The post-meal time is my most favorite part. The evening events are more relaxed and everyone is fed, so all are (usually) content and settling down for the evening. Yesterday evening brought a couple of impromptu renditions of "We are the Dinosaurs" with choreography, a Rams loss to KC (boo), a fun "Aunt Caron the Horsey" double ride, and a beautiful balad made up on the spot by Reese about butterflies (hence the title of this post). Bryan captured the Butterfly Ballad via his mobile phone and I've uploaded it here for you to enjoy: (Right mouse click and select Save Target As...)

Kristin:

Car thanks for sharing these pictures and the Butterfly song. :) Carlos and I wish we could have been there with you all. It looks like it was a lot of fun. It makes me remember some butterfly songs you used to sing.... :) L, Kristin

Lynne:

What's beautiful is the little girl singing "Butterflies are Beautiful." Reese can entertain me anytime although she scares me with her dinosaur impression. And Caylee walks across the floor now smiling like she just won the lottery! How cute and proud she is! The pic with (only) Grandpa Steve and Isaac......well let's see now. Who is having more fun there? That's so cute. Caron, how about a triple horsey ride? All three cousins at once maybe? It looks like the evening was a blast. Good for you! Life is short, laugh a lot. Happy Fall. God Bless all of you. Thanks, I love getting pics.
