Today is Isaac's first day at his new school. In the tradition that my family started years ago, we tried to take a picture of him in front of our house.
It didn't work out so well because he kept running away:
So, I held him in front of our house:

And Bryan held him in front of his new school:

Bryan and I were both a little nervous for him, but Isaac was as cool as a cucumber. He immediately found the box of cars and went to work. Here is a picture of him with two new buddies, Hayden and EJ:

Good luck to everyone else out there starting school today, especially Nana (aka My Mom) and Vicki!
Vicki is Isaac's former Day Care Provider and today is her first day teaching in the Special School District. Vicki: we miss you and we know you're going to be terrific! They lucked out getting you on staff! : ) I'm going to miss our lunches together. Give all of the animals a pat for me.

Isaac looks like he's ready to explore the world. We need to borrow some of that enthusiasm!
Go get 'em, Isey! (How do we spell his name for himself?)
Love,
Papa H.

I spelled it, "I-zee," for the teachers at his school.
Isaac says, "I, Z, I-zee!" when he tries to write his name. : ) So, maybe it's simpler than we're making it. haha.

Isaac looks like he is making himself right at home. Try not to worry. I figure that by about noon he will run the place. Good for him! hahahaha He has such wonderful care and love from his parents and grandparents, he will do fine in anything he tries. He is precious, beautiful, darling, bright, funny, handsome, and adorable. His smile makes everyone around him smile. You should have several kids just like him! The other day I felt my grandson (Dylan) kick 6 times. (active little fellow) It was so neat, I remember that feeling inside me. I am so anxious to hold him. Have a great day, a safe one too.

Hi! It looks like he is doing fine--probably better than we are!!!! I miss him already! He is spreading his wings, and we have to understand that it is part of growing up. He doesn't have to grow up that fast though!!!!!

Wow! How can Isaac be so grown up already? I remember when you called me at the kiosk and told me you were pregnant! He looks like he's going to have no trouble fitting right in. Loved the pictures of the air show. The one with Sue, Steve, and Isaac all looking up was wonderful. That's a keeper for all time! Sandy
