To Arn

There are only 13 days in the year when Bryan is officially 1 year older than me. Today is day #1 of those 13 days.

Happy 28th Birthday, Bryan. Isaac and I love you very much. : )

C

p.s. Isaac and I gave him some new golf shoes and a new golf bag. See a photo of the happy golfer here: http://catteron.textamerica.com/?r=3418011

An Addendum

Ever since I posted my short b-day blog to Bryan, I've been feeling guilty that I didn't write more. (I've had do be resourceful recently with my time.)

Thus, here is an addendum to my previous entry about the man I love:

This time last year, we were living in Bryan's parents' basement and getting super anxious about two major events: moving into our new house and having our first baby.

We were stressed, scared, nervous... We had no idea what to expect. Our first year as parents has been tough, to say the least.

One year later, my love and respect for Bryan has grown ten fold. He is such an awesome dad. He has been so patient and loving toward both Isaac and I. I don't know what I would do without his love and support.

Thank you, Bryan, for being my best friend and for choosing me to learn and grow beside. I love you.

For Kristin

Happy B-day today to my sister, Kristin! : )

This past year has been very eventful for Kristin, to say the least. She is the sister who married a Portuguese man in Portugal this past June. She also married Carlos in Vegas, and celebrated with a reception in St. Louis three weeks ago.

She's the sister who likes to dress up the least, yet she's the one who's had the most weddings. : )

impromptuweekend.jpgAbout a month ago, Kristin cashed in some frequent flyer miles and flew impromptu to St. Louis for the weekend. I loved it. We spent nearly the entire weekend hanging out and catching up. Isaac got a lot of good "Aunt Kissie" time in and it made me really miss not having her in town.

Just hanging out with Kristin made me remember the super fun inside jokes that we have. (e.g. "Click!", "Jynx!", the refrigerator/taxi dance, "Nee-Ner", etc. I could go on and on...)

And when I speak of those things, I'm reminded of all of those unforgettable moments growing up. Once she dumped an entire bowl of Cheerios, milk and all, over my head because I wouldn't get up and change the TV channel. (It's funny now, but at the time she was in DEEP trouble. Mom even made her clean the carpets. haha.)

Happy, Birthday to you, Kiss! : ) We love and miss you.

A 360° Peek

I've been doing some recent research and purchasing for a 360° system for the company that I work for. To figure out our capabilities, I did a very quick test on my office at work.

It turned out so cool that I had to share it with you. Click and drag your mouse to look around the entire space:

I missed a few places with my camera. That's where you'll see the big black boxes or spaces, but overall, I thought it was super cool!

When all of the hardware comes in, I'll do another test with the real equiptment.

P.S. Here is what the image looks like flat. Also a cool view. Click on the image below:

p.s. Happy 1st B-day to Sam! (Sam is the son of our friends, Amy and Van Avanzado.) We celebrated with them on Saturday! He liked his cake a lot. Click on the photos below:
