Growing up, every year, this week was an exciting week in the Hoyne household because we had two birthdays to celebrate!
Today is my sister, Kristin's Birthday!!
What a year it's been for her! On her birthday last year, my brother-in-law Carlos proposed to her on the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco. They were married in Las Vegas in the spring and they're planning a wedding in Portugal for June 2005.
I'm looking forward to seeing Kristin and Carlos on Thanksgiving in St. Louis this year. Last year sure was fun!

Thanks for the great Birthday Blog! I wish I was in our kitchen tonight, blowing out candles on one of the cookie cake Mema used to get for us and hearing you all sing (plus Papa's Bah-Bummm! at the end).
