We Have Walls!

It's so much fun to stop by our new house on the way home from work. Every day we have the anticipation to see if they built anything new, and this week has been very rewarding to see!

At last night's visit, we found that we have walls! Not all of the walls, but about half of the first floor walls. : ) It's so exciting!!

Here are some photos from yesterday afternoon:

My parents and sister, Kristin, are in Australia right now. (Kristin is there for business and my parents decided to take advantage of the opportunity to visit Aussie country/continent.) They have been emailing us with daily updates and photos. It's fun to hear that they're having fun! (Meanwhile, it's super weird to know that they are officially emailing us from tomorrow, because of the time difference.)

Here are two of the photos that they've sent us, taken from my dad's pda:

I can't wait to see what else they send us. It looks like fun! : )

Tonight, I'm going to an art opening at The Contemporary Art Museum St. Louis with my little sister, Sara. One of my college professors from last semester, Adam Frelin, has an exhibit opening there tonight because he was one of the winners of the Great Rivers Biennial: A Visual Arts Award Program.

I am excited to see what he's prepared for the museum. His class was very challenging and rewarding for me and I'm happy to be able to support his artwork at St. Louis's premiere contemporary art venue.

On a geek's side note, I've officially installed FireFox on my computer at work. It's a new web browser that is open-source by the Mozilla Foundation. It's super sleek design and clean navigation is pleasing to use, it's pop-up blocker works wonders, and from what I've read, it's quite a bit more secure than Internet Explorer.

The feature that most people rave about with FireFox, though is the tab-based browsing. I have yet to make it my default browser, but I'm enjoying exploring the program. I will let you know if I decide to ditch IE for FireFox. : ) You should definitely check it out and see for yourself.

Baby update - he moves a lot. Yesterday I was able to see my belly jump when he kicked. I know I've said this before, but it's literally the weirdest and coolest thing I've ever experienced. : )

Well, I guess that's it on this Friday. I'm happy to see the weekend here, though it will involve a lot of packing. We officially close on our current house two weeks from today!

Have a good weekend! : )
