This was often my perspective this past weekend. : ) And I loved it!
This is a photo of my niece, Reese. She, my sister, Angie, and brother-in-law, John, live in Kansas City, where we visited over weekend.
It was so fun! We went out on their new boat:

And I got to see my friend Aaron Money: (He and his wife, Carolyn, just moved back to Kansas City.)

And we celebrated Father's Day and a little early birthday for Reese from us. But I must say, the most fun was just hanging out with my family and learning about the mind of a two-year-old. : )
The few times when Reese wasn't on my lap, we were drawing, spinning in circles, or singing silly songs. You know, important fun stuff.
Here are some more photos:
And here is a video of us talking to my dad on the phone to say, "Happy Father's Day!": Reese_fathersdaycall.html (listen for the "Hi Papa" in the end.)
It was a well needed weekend of fun. (Even with Reese's heartbreaking good-bye, "No bye bye, Caron.")
I loved every minute and I can't wait to see them again soon!

Hi Car!
The pictures are so cute. I can hardly wait until we go to KC next weekend!
We will be playing with "Peanut" like this in a couple of years. (There'd better not be five weeks between visits though! haha)
You and Angie look like twins on the picture. I wonder if "Peanut" will resemble Reese?
Have a good day and thanks for sending the pictures.

Hi Reese! and Hi Caron! Dad/Papa enjoyed the call.
It's our turn next for a play weekend.
Love,
Dad/Papa
