I'm so happy that my parents taught me manners!
1. "Say please and thank you."
2. "Don't interrupt. Wait your turn to speak."
3. "Take turns."
4. "Sometimes you have to do things that you don't like to do."
5. "Never point your finger at people. It's very rude."
I guess my parents did really know what they were talking about. : )
Thanks, Mom and Dad. These rules (and others) that you taught me when I was five have proven effective in my daily life.
I am embarrassed and sad for the people I meet who have never learned these lessons.
(A heavier topic today, but something I've been needing to get out.)
Have a good weekend! We're floating on Sunday! YAY! : )

Car--Thanks for the compliment! It doesn't take much to be courteous--but sometimes it really a makes someone's day! I usually try to talk to store clerks or at least give a lonely person a hello and a smile--I guess it's the Nana in me!!
When you get a smile or hello back, it makes you feel happy too! I also like to give compliments--we are very proud of your accomplishments. Our life is so blessed. How much better could it be?
Have a good rest of the day! I love you! Mom oxoxoxoxoxxoxooxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxxoxoxooxoxoxoxoxox
